I blew out a lot of white to cover the background. Another mixture of white, yellow and orange as a base color for the outside tree trunk, the wood grain is still a mixture of red and black. To offset the “orangey” color I added some blue to my mix; this will add depth to the image. It’s also a great blending color, I use it to blend the wood grain background into the Jeep green base of the tire cover. I think the more natural look of the wood looks good in contrast to Woody’s graphic quality. I want the wood background to blend into the cover. I added the black outline using HOK stripping paint, the highights are rendered by using a HOK white. I mixed some striping black with red and signed my name at the bottom lower right hand (not visible) and I’m done. Now to get it cleared and it’s a done deal.
