True Merit Character is a program that helps brothers hone their interpersonal, leadership, citizenship and professional skills. $15,000 annually CHAPTER-BASED LEADERSHAPE PRESIDENTS RETREAT Newly elected chapter presidents meet in Indianapolis for an intensive weekend of leadership, citizenship and chapter management education. $25,000 annually ALCOHOLEDU Internationally recognized proven leadership development for college students, The LeaderShape Institute develops leaders, who in turn have the tools to strengthen their chapters. $150,000 annually ALTITUDE (NOAH’S ARK) - pictured to the left Proven as an alcohol education program that gets results, all ATO new members are required to successfully complete the on-line interactive course. $25,000 annually RITUAL/SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM Set in the Colorado Rockies, brothers spend four days in the elements hiking, climbing and talking about issues of life. $15,000 annually ATO DEVOTIONAL/BROTHERHOOD ATO lea ds t he int erfra t erna l w o rld in rel evant p ro gra ms help ing b ro t hers b et t er u nders tand t he t imeless p rinc ip les t he Fo u nders b u il t the Fra t ernit y o n. $100,000 annually LEADERSHIP CONSULTANT PROGRAM When a new ATO initiate receives his Badge and Certificate, he also receives a copy of the ATO Devotional, a popular book written by ATOs for ATOs highlights the eternal principles of the Fraternity. $7,500 annually CONGRESS EDUCATIONAL/SPEAKERS Topics from business etiquette to financial planning make up key components of a successful ATO Congress. Professional speakers and interactive web-casts provide excellent learning opportunities year around. $25,000 annually EMERGING LEADERS PROGRAM (GOOD TO GREAT) Without defi nable and measurable goals, chapters have little hope of maximizing their impact on brothers and their campus communities. Leadership Consultants facilitate goal setting education to help all members understand the power of individual and corporate goals. $100,000 annually ARCHIVES PROGRAM ATO and the University of Illinois have teamed up to protect and make available historical chapter and National Fraternity papers within the University Library System. $20,000 annually DISTINCT ADVANTAGE SCHOLARSHIP Based on the concept of helping energized new initiates become energized and effective leaders within person and virtual educational opportunities. $90,000 annually General education scholarships provide chapters a powerful campus outreach opportunity and help students defray college costs. $70,000 annually IRA Minimum Required Distribution Law Change Favors the ATO Foundation If you are at least 70½, you can make tax-free distributions up to $100,000 from an IRA to the ATO Foundation anytime during 2007. The donation satisfies rules for required minimum distributions; donated amounts will not be taxed or included in your adjusted gross income.
