HQ North Carolina State University nhq news Alpha Tau Omega has re-launched its recruitment Web site JoinATO.org. The site has been simplified to provide video testimonials of the ATO Experience and re-designed with a more contemporary look and feel. Alpha Tau Omega is pleased to welcome four new chapters last spring. The Kappa Delta chapter at North Carolina State University was installed on Feb. 10, 2007 with 47 brothers and a 2.92 GPA. On April 21, 2007, the Kappa Epsilon chapter at Pepperdine University was installed with 46 brothers and a 3.21 GPA. The University of Oklahoma Delta Kappa chapter was re-chartered on April 28, 2007 with 43 brothers and a 3.1 GPA. On May 6, 2007 the Kappa Zeta chapter at James Madison University was chartered with 53 brothers and a 3.3 GPA. In addition, this fall ATO welcomes the Zeta Eta chapter at Texas Tech, that rechartered September 22, 2007 with 53 brothers. ATO National Headquarters is pleased to welcome its newest colony at the University of California-Berkeley’s campus. The group colonized on March 11, 2007 with 24 members. The North-American Interfraternity Conference honored the Theta Nu chapter at Baylor University with its Award of Distinction. The award, given annually to the most outstanding chapters and individuals, recognizes campus chapters that are motivated by the success of others, value service to and for others, represent the diversity of their campus and stand firm in the face of adversity. This marks the 4th time in 4 years that an ATO chapter has been selected. Alpha Tau Omega changed the format of its Annual Report and Awards application this year. This year’s report has been re-structured to align with the Four Fs (Focus, Financial, Fundamentals and Friendship) that are being discussed with all chapters. ATO National Headquarters is pleased to announce its newest staff members. Michael Gallegos, New Mexico State ’03, Steve Gottlieb, St. Lawrence ’04 and Russell Lott, Arkansas State ’03 are the newest Leadership Consultants. Ben Barilich, North Carolina State ’07, has been hired as an Associate Director of Expansion and Jay McGraw, Baylor ’05 joins staff as a Communication Consultant. Alpha Tau Omega congratulates Sandra Ross for her 10 year anniversary as a member of the ATO National Headquarters staff. Ross has been instrumental in the coordination of all conferences and meetings during her tenure as Director of Conference Planning.
