Brothers dressed in pin attire and served their guests a formal meal. SIR IN BRIEF www.atoroadshow.org 26 MARYLAND > epsilon gamma CAMpus InvolveMenT The Epsilon Gamma chapter placed second during Homecoming Skits and placed first in the Homecoming Parade. “The highlight of the parade was when Maryland President Dan Mote took a picture with our float and gave everyone a high five,” said Akshay Gupta, Maryland ’06. MEMPHIS > zeta rho philanthropy The Zeta Rho chapter placed second in the all-campus philanthropy Up ’Til Dawn and helped to beat its previous year’s total of $129,000 by raising over $140,000 this year. MIDDLE TENNESSEEE STATE > eta nu Campus Involvement & Recognition The Eta Nu chapter cleaned house at the Greek Awards banquet on campus. The chapter won Outstanding Scholarship Program, Gold Standard (the highest of the achievement awards), The Presidents Cup (awarded to the chapter with the highest points in the Gold Standard Assessment) as well as individual awards for Most Outstanding Freshman, Most Outstanding Junior and Greek Man of the Year. CINCINNATI > delta lambda philanthropy The Delta Lambda Brothers helped raise $1,200 for The American Lung Association with their innovative Rock Paper Scissors Tournament, after the brothers got the idea from attending the International Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament in Toronto, Canada. INDIANA STATE > zeta omicron philanthropy Taus at ISU set up camp on campus to collect donations for Coats for Kids. The chapter raised over $1,000 and was featured in the Indiana Statesman and the local NBC affiliate. IOWA STATE > gamma upsilon Campus Involvement & Recognition The Gamma Upsilon chapter finished 2nd overall in the annual Varieties sing competition. The chapter received the Best Spirit, Best Band and Best Duet awards. ILLINOIS STATE > theta theta phIlAnThRopy For Illinois State’s 150th Homecoming, the chapter held a bike-a-thon philanthropy event to raise money for the ALS Les Turner Foundation. The chapter biked from Indiana State to Illinois State, traveling over 150 miles and raising more than $4,000. NEVADA-RENO > delta iota philanthropy The Delta Iota chapter helped raise $824,000 for The Boys and Girls Club at Truckee Meadows. The men participated in an auction doing a variety of jobs including carrying the actual items and identifying potential bidders. The auction itself is named “The Jack T.
