The Alpha Pi chapter at Washington & Jefferson re-chartered on April 19, 2008 with 51 brothers. The Delta Eta chapter at Colorado State re-chartered on April 26, 2008 with 48 brothers. The Gamma Iota chapter at the University of California-Berkeley re-chartered on May 3, 2008 with 43 brothers. >> ATO National Headquarters is pleased to announce its newest members. Zak Edmonds, Monmouth ’05, Chris Smith, Middle Tennessee State ’04, and Doug Smith, NebraskaKearney ’05, are the newest Leadership Consultants. Ronnie Hebert, Southern Mississippi ’06, and Dan Pompey, Central Missouri State ’04, have both been hired as Associate Directors of Expansion. Tim Eubanks, Middle Tennessee State ’04, also has joined staff as Chapter Services Consultant. >> ATO National Headquarters has replaced AlcoholEDU with a new program from Outside the Classroom called GreekLifeEDU that all new ATO members must complete the course. GreekLifeEDU adds education on hazing and sexual abuse to the alcohol education information that has been Outside the Classroom’s bedrock. The purpose of the new program is to better educate all ATO members on how to better deal with issues that they may face in their time as an ATO undergraduate. 360. The purpose of Tau 360 sessions is to put undergraduate and alumni brothers in touch with experts on the issues affecting their chapter. Tau 360 education sessions are held every month and will deal with a wide variety of chapter and brotherhood related issues. Log on to ATO.org to view previous Tau 360 events. >> Walter J. Hughes, Alabama ’60, has been elected as the ATO National President. Brothers Jay Byers, Simpson ’90, Frank Pierce, Florida ’73, Austin Pennington, Texas Tech ’07 and Travis Wendt, Baylor ’06, have joined the ATO National Board of Directors. 24 ATO Chief Executive Officer Wynn Smiley, Sigma Nu Executive Director Brad Beacham, and Kappa Alpha Order Executive Director Larry Weise gathered in Lexington, Va. to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the placing of the Lexington Triad marker. The marker honors the founding of the three fraternities that make up the Lexington Triad.
