The chapter invites successful chapter alumni and other school officials to lecture on topics that would be helpful and relevant to the members and their time as undergraduates. KANSAS STATE >>Delta Theta LEADERSHIP Brothers Peter Boos, Kansas State ’06, Danny Unruh, Kansas State ’08, and Jared Schnefke, Kansas State ’07, were elected to two-year terms on the K-State Student Union Board. This marks the first time in the board’s 50-year history that members of the same fraternity hold all three two-year board positions. AUBURN >> Alpha Epsilon CAMPUS INVOLVEMENT & RECOGNITION KENT STATE >>Zeta Zeta COMMUNITY SERVICE & PHILANTHROPY Last semester, the Alpha Epsilon Taus were recognized at the Auburn IFC awards banquet with the Outstanding Community Service Award, the Outstanding Campus Involvement Award, and Fraternity of the Year Award in the small fraternity category. BAYLOR >> Theta Nu CAMPUS INVOLVEMENT & RECOGNITION The Taus of the Zeta Zeta chapter recently participated in an Inter Greek dance competition that went to raise money for the Elizabeth Glazer Foundation. Paired with Alpha Xi Delta and Sigma Phi Epsilon, they won the overall fundraising prize and placed second in the dance competition. The ATOs raised $3,700 as a chapter for the foundation. The chapter won the judge’s award for the best overall float at Homecoming. Baylor’s homecoming parade is the second largest collegiate parade in America, behind only the Rose Bowl Parade. The Taus teamed up with the sisters of Delta Delta Delta to create the Alice in Wonderland themed float. OHIO STATE >> Beta Omega COMMUNITY SERVICE & PHILANTHROPY Ohio State Head Football Coach Jim Tressel, Baldwin Wallace ’72, kicked off the 4th Annual Beta Omega Casino Night, helping draw more than 500 people and helping the chapter raise over $20,000. All proceeds were donated to the Tressel Family Fund that goes to support the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. BELMONT >> Iota Phi PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT OKLAHOMA STATE >>Epsilon Omicron INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENT 24 Brother Klay Kelley, Belmont ’05, was elected as the Student Body President for the 2008-2009 academic school year. This helps further cement the Iota Phi chapter’s presence in leadership positions around campus with seven of the 31 student senator positions being held by ATOs during the same academic year. AT O PA L M SPRING 2008 Former chapter president Scott Robin, Oklahoma State ’05, has been elected Interfraternity Council’s Vice President. With Robin’s help and coordination, the IFC has organized a regular “Chapter Presidents Roundtable” that helps coordinate efforts between fraternities to improve greek philanthropies, scholarship, and overall relations between the Oklahoma State fraternities. http://ATORoadshow.org
