San Francisco to Host the 74th Scientific Sessions
Mark your calendars now for the 74th Scientific Sessions, the most important worldwide
meeting focused on diabetes. Next year's meeting will be held June 13-17, 2014, at the
Moscone Center in San Francisco, Calif. As the largest meeting of its kind, the Scientific
Sessions brings together scientists and health care professionals from around the world
who are involved in diabetes research and care. The comprehensive program presents
innovative research of interest to all members of the diabetes community.
Attendees will be able to choose from over 3,000 original presentations from worldrenowned diabetes experts, including scientific and educational sessions, oral and poster
presentations, and special lectures and addresses.
You won't want to miss this opportunity to join your colleagues at the world's premier
meeting on diabetes-the American Diabetes Association's Scientific Sessions.
Now Accepting Abstract Submissions
The abstract submission site is now open. Each year, the best new basic and clinical
science related to diabetes and its complications is presented at the Scientific Sessions in
over 300 oral and 2,000 poster presentations.
■ Accepted abstracts will be published in the journal Diabetes, the number one publisher
of original research in the fields of diabetes, endocrinology, and metabolism.
■ You will be able to share your research with over 15,000 professional attendees from
more than 118 countries, and over 200,000 virtual attendees using our ePoster website
forum.
■ A limited number of travel grants in the amount of $1,000 (USD) are available to early
career investigators submitting abstracts to the Scientific Sessions.

(EST), January 6, 2014, at scientificsessions.diabetes.org/abstracts.
