These conferences provide a forum for scientists to present and discuss the latest research in basic or clinical science related to diabetes or its complications. The format is lecture-based and includes oral and poster presentations. The Association plans to hold the next research symposium in 2013. If you have a symposium topic to propose, please e-mail it by Submit your research now for the Late Breaking Abstract Program. This program allows for later submissions of newly completed research and clinical trials. The abstract should describe a noteworthy and timely research advance that has not been previously submitted.
