Materia Inc. has appointed Neal
Gilmore vice president of operations.
He has 25 years of experience in chemical process and manufacturing operations. Gilmore will oversee all aspects
of Materia's operations, including manufacturing at the company's plants in
Pasadena, Ca., and Huntsville, Tx.
Wesleyne Greer has been named
senior manager of sales. She has a
decade's worth of experience in the
petrochemical industry, and will support
Materia's Proxima® resin customers in
the oil and gas industry.

BCCK Holding Co. has appointed
John Peterson director of business development. He will be responsible for
building and maintaining relationships
within the Houston, Gulf and Rocky
Mountain regions.
Peterson joins BCCK from STV Energy Services, where he served as director of business development. He has
more than 20 years of experience in
business development and sales.

Charles Davison, president and chief
executive officer of FairfieldNodal, has
been elected to serve on the Board of
Directors of the International Association of Geophysical Contractors for the
2017-18 term. He has served on IAGC's
Leadership Committee.

Halliburton Co. has elected Jeff
Miller, the company's president and a
board member, to serve as president and
chief executive officer. Dave Lesar,
who has led Halliburton as chairman
and CEO since 2000, will continue serving the company as executive chairman.
Miller joined Halliburton in 1997
and has since served in leadership roles,
including chief operating officer until
2014, when he was named president and

Pioneer Natural Resources Company
has chosen Neal H. Shah to serve as vice
president of investor relations. Shah previously worked at Thrivent Asset Management and Nuveen Asset Management,
where he was responsible for energy sector stock selection. His other past roles
include financial analysis positions at
Target Corp., Piper Jaffray & Company,
RBC Capital Markets and Goldman
Sachs & Company.

Dawson Geophysical Company has
appointed Philip D. Lathram as vice
president of information technology and
Thomas E. Phillips as vice president of
applied geophysical technology.
Lathram joined Dawson Geophysical
in 1991 as a computer technician and system administrator. He has served as manager of information technologies since
2005.
Phillips joined Dawson Geophysical
as principal engineer in 2013. From 2003
to 2013, he served as vice president of
engineering for source products at INOVA Geophysical Equipment Ltd. r
The American Petroleum Institute has
selected Megan Barnett Bloomgren as
its vice president for communications. She
most recently served as acting deputy
chief of staff for the U.S. Department of
the Interior. Before joining the administration, Bloomgren was a partner at DCI
Group, a public affairs consulting firm in
Washington. Before joining DCI Group
in 2011, she led strategy and operations
for the Institute for 21st Century Energy
at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. r

Tim Charters has joined the National
Ocean Industries Association's staff as
senior director of governmental and political affairs. He comes to NOIA from
the National Stripper Well Association.
Before he worked for those two groups,
Charters served as staff director of the
Energy and Mineral Resources Subcom-

Committee. From 2006-08, he served
as legislative director to Representative
Steve Pearce, R-N.M.

FairfieldNodal has promoted Joe
Dryer to senior vice president and chief
sales officer. Dryer has been with the
company for more than 20 years, most
recently serving as senior vice president
of Fairfield Data Licensing, which he
will continue to oversee. He helped
build the data licensing team and grow
a multiclient database in the Permian
Basin and Gulf of Mexico. r

ROSE

Marc Rose has joined Sidley Austin
LLP as a partner in its Dallas office. He
focuses on mergers and acquisitions,
joint ventures and other energy transactions, as well as private equity investments. Before coming to the firm, he
represented a private equity-backed oil
and gas company in its $2.8 billion sale
of Midland Basin assets to a public company; Tug Hill in its agreement to acquire Appalachian assets for $360 million from Stone Energy Corp.; and
Denbury Resources in its $1.6 billion
sale of Bakken assets to XTO Energy.r
Sarah K. Krehbiel has joined MidContinent Energy Exchange as chief operating officer.
Krehbiel has 13 years of experience
expanding service companies' operations, most recently in the category of
directional and horizontal drilling,
where her primary focus was within the
Mid-Continent and Northeast regions.
She will guide MCEE in redeveloping
its marketing program, and take a handson role in helping working interest, royalty and override owners, operators and
other energy partners transition their oil
and gas assets at auction.
