Probe Secures Capital To Accelerate Growth

HOUSTON-Probe Technologies
Holdings Inc., a supplier of logging and
reservoir monitoring technology, announces that Turnbridge Capital has
completed a growth recapitalization of
the company alongside its management
team. Federico Casavantes will continue
to serve as Probe's president and chief
executive officer, with Gary Cresswell
joining as executive chairman.
The company says its expanded financial and strategic resources put it in
a strong position to accelerate product
line expansion and increase its penetration
in global markets.

Select Energy Services To Merge With Rockwater
GAINESVILLE, TX.-Select Energy
Services Inc. has entered into a definitive
agreement to merge with privately held
Rockwater Energy Solutions Inc. in a
stock-for-stock transaction.
Select describes Rockwater as a leading
provider of comprehensive water management
solutions to the North American unconventional oil and gas industry. Rockwater's offerings include water sourcing, transfer,
treatment and storage; flowback and well
testing; fluids conditioning and recycling;
and field fluids logistics. Select adds that
Rockwater develops and manufactures completion and production chemicals.
Once the merger concludes, Select
says John Schmitz, its chairman and chief
executive officer, will become the fulltime executive chairman. Holli Ladhani,
chairman, president and CEO of Rockwater, will become Select's president
and CEO. The combined company's water-related services will consolidate under
the Select brand name, while Rockwater's
chemicals business will retain the Rockwater brand name.

Packers Plus Suite Helps
Speed Long-Lateral Fracs

HOUSTON-A Permian Basin operator
was able to reduce operational risks by
using TREXTM Cemented Completions
Solutions, a suite of high-quality technologies designed by Packers Plus Energy
Services Inc. that the company says optimize cemented well completions.
The TREX limited entry system is a
multistage completion system with ballactivated sliding sleeves that deliver a
limited entry stimulation treatment, Packers Plus says. One ball opens multiple
QuickPORT IV sleeves to selectively
stimulate multiple entry points with one
treatment from the surface.
Packers Plus says the Permian Basin
operator installed QuickPORT TM IV
sleeves at the well's toe. The company
has installed two more systems and
secured several more stages of sleeves
for the operator's latest well.
The combination of reinforced nozzles
and a designed pump rate to maintain
the desired pressure differential ensures
even fluid distribution across the cluster,
Packers Plus describes. After stimulation,
the well can be flowed back immediately
and put on production.
According to Packers Plus, QuickPort
sleeves solve the challenges and risks associated with milling composite plugs from
long laterals after using the plug-and-perf
method. Data from the Permian Basin
shows for every four stages of QuickPORT
IV sleeves run in the well's toe section,
the operator saves an average of 14 hours
in location time, rentals and labor.

Milestone Environmental Building Disposal Facility

HOUSTON-Milestone Environmental
Services has begun building its second
oil field waste disposal facility in the
Permian Basin, and its eighth in Texas.
The company says the new South Midland
facility is expected to open in the fourth
quarter of 2017.
According to the company, the South
Midland site will be capable of taking
drilling, completion and production waste
streams, including oil- and water-based
muds, drilling fluids, flowback, tank bottoms, dirty water and produced water.
Using its proprietary slurry injection
process, Milestone says it securely injects

a mixture of the waste streams into formations more than a mile below the surface.
"This expansion reflects Milestone's
deep commitment to the Permian. We
are proud to enable exploration and production operators to produce energy in a
