MEYER

Apache Corporation has named W.
Mark Meyer its senior vice president of
energy technology strategies. He will lead
Apache's worldwide energy technology
strategies team, which focuses on increasing
company value and overall performance.
Meyer joins Apache from Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co., where he was managing
director in the securities division as head
of energy technology research. His preTudor roles include president of RR Advisors LLC and a co-founder and portfolio
manager of many of its upstream investment strategies; senior portfolio manager
with CastleArk Management LLC; and
lead exploration, drilling and production
research analyst with Simmons & Company and Goldman Sachs.

Adamantine Energy has welcomed
Matt Lepore, the former director of
the Colorado Oil & Gas Conservation
Commission, as its strategic adviser and
legal counsel.
Lepore joins Adamantine after serving
as COGCC director for five years. In
that role, Adamantine says, he saw the
passions on all sides of energy development projects and became an expert
in finding a pragmatic middle ground
to benefit an array of stakeholders and
stand the test of time. At Adamantine,
Lepore will work with clients at the
leadership, executive and board levels
to evolve their business strategies, and
to reduce and transform their political
and policy risks.

Coiled tubing company Cogent Energy Services has named David Gutierrez its chief financial officer.
Gutierrez has 35 years of accounting,
finance, credit, treasury and risk experience in the oil and gas industry, including structuring strategic transactions,
ensuring operational efficiencies, establishing treasury and financing structures,

Southwestern Energy Co. has hired Julian Bott as executive vice president and
chief financial officer. He succeeds Jennifer
Stewart, who served as CFO on an interim
basis and will transition to senior vice president of government and regulatory affairs.
In addition, the company has named
Michael Hancock vice president of financial planning and analysis. Paige Penchas replaces Hancock as vice president
of investor relations.
Bott comes to Southwestern from SandRidge Energy, where he served as CFO
since 2015. Before SandRidge, he served
as CFO at Texas American Resources
and 3DMD Technologies, and as managing
partner at Kensington Energy Partners.
Earlier in his career, Bott held executive
positions at the Toronto Dominion Bank
and Bankers Trust Company.
Penchas has 20 years of experience in
investor relations, treasury and financial
services in the energy industry. She most
recently served as executive vice president
at The Abernathy MacGregor Group. Her
other past roles include managing director
of institutional sales at Tudor, Pickering,
Holt & Co., treasurer of Nuevo Energy
and Weatherford International, and investor
relations director for Weatherford Enterra.

Forum Energy Technologies Inc. has
promoted Pablo G. Mercado to senior
vice president and chief financial officer.
Former CFO James W. Harris has transitioned to executive vice president of drilling
and subsea to focus on leading the company's drilling and subsea segment, a responsibility he took on in September 2017.
Mercado joined Forum in 2011 as
vice president of corporate development.
Since then, he has held positions with
increasing responsibility, the most recent
being senior vice president of finance.
Prior to Forum, Mercado was an investment banker in the oil and gas group of
Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC,
where he worked with oil field services
companies.

Shale Support Holdings LLC, a
provider of sand and logistical solutions
to the oil and gas proppant market, has
named Lee Hullman vice president of
business development.
Before joining Shale Support, Hullman
held positions of increasing responsibility
in marketing, sales and logistics for a
Class I railroad. Most recently, he was
responsible for business development
efforts for Texas and Oklahoma, with an
emphasis on the oil and gas industry. r

Dawson Geophysical founder
Decker Dawson has passed on.
Dawson was born to Louis Decker
Dawson and Suzie Cramer on July 28,
1920, in Tulsa. He began his oil field
career in the early 1940s as a
geophysical
helper (juggie)
with Magnolia
Petroleum Co.
(ExxonMobil).
After serving in
the Navy during
World War II, he
returned to the
oil field. In 1952,
DAWSON
he and his wife,
Louise "Lou" Loper, founded Dawson
Geophysical, which has become the
largest provider of geophysical services
in North America.
Dawson served his profession as
president of the Permian Basin Geophysical Society, secretary-treasurer
and then president of the Society of
Geophysicists, and chairman of the
board of the International Association
of Geophysical Contractors. All three
organizations named him an honorary
life member.
Dawson's many accolades include
selection to the Permian Basin Petroleum Museum Hall of Fame, the Permian Basin Petroleum Association's
Top Hand award, the Hearst Energy
Award for Lifetime Achievement, and
the T. Boone Pickens Boot Strap Award
from Oklahoma State University.
Those who worked with Dawson
praise his integrity, intelligence, kindness and humility.
