Tenaris Reopens Plant
As Pipe Demand Grows
HOUSTON-Tenaris announces it will
restart select areas of its mill in Conroe,
Tx., following a three-year suspension.
The company says the mill will support
its ramp up of seamless activity in the
United States by heat treating and finishing
pipe products.
"We are prepared to respond to the
increased demand for the domestic supply
of pipe," assures Tenaris U.S. President
Luca Zanotti. "Reviving areas of the plant
will allow us to maximize production
from our new mill in Bay City, Tx., expediting the finish, prep and delivery of
our products, while raising the current
level of activity at the plant that, during
the downturn, remained open as a service
center."
In preparation for the restart, which
is projected to occur by September,
Tenaris says it will form a team of 100
employees through internal and external
hires who will be trained to operate the
two production areas. The company adds
that it plans to hire 150 personnel for its
seamless pipe mill in Bay City, Tx., and
its threading facility in Houston as part
of its production increase.

LAGCOE announces it has selected four high school students to receive Future Energy
Professionals scholarships. It says it awards the scholarships to goal-oriented students
who plan to enroll in a Louisiana college to pursue degrees that emphasize science,
technology, engineering and math. The recipients are Meaghan Thibodeaux, who plans
to study biological sciences at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La.; Michael
LaCour, who plans to major in chemical engineering at the University of Louisiana at
Lafayette, La.; Parker Cormier, who plans to learn integrated production technology at
the L.E. Fletcher Technical Community College in Schriever, La.; and Brandon Mitchell,
who plans to complete the oil and gas production program at South Louisiana
Community College in Lafayette.

The annual reconstitution of the Russell indexes captures the largest U.S.

Reveal To Help Arsenal Validate Its Completions
HOUSTON-Reveal Energy Services
reports it has signed its first operator volume agreement with Arsenal Resources,
a pure-play natural gas operator in the
Marcellus Shale's West Virginia core.
Under the agreement, Reveal says Arsenal Resources will validate the completion designs for its 2018 wells using
Reveal's simple, accurate, affordable
pressure-based fracture maps, which
quantify fracture half-length, height,
asymmetry, and azimuth. Because these
maps are generated using a surface pressure gauge that monitors a few stages at
a time and a bridge plug, they allow operators to analyze frac effectiveness without downhole tools, downtime or additional crew, Reveal says.
Arsenal Resources signed the agree-

ment after using Reveal's service to
validate several completions last year,
Reveal relates.
"We entered into this agreement because we believe Reveal Energy Services'
new approach to fracture mapping provides
a cost-effective diagnostic measurement
to enhance our 2018 completion operations," says Arsenal Resources Chief Operating Officer Jon Sheldon.
