APA Financial Planning for Early Career Psychologists Handbook Developed by CECP and APA, this handbook offers you practical advice-from how to repay your student loans to how to plan for retirement. It is an important resource for all psychologists. You can get information from APA's online career management resource, PsycCareers (see page 4), including details about licensure, professional development for psychologists, salary surveys, and data on education and employment. Furthering Your Education Earn continuing education credits through APA's independent study program and the APA Online Academy. See the Continuing Education section on page 5 for more details. You can also attend selected sessions for CE credit and CE workshops at the APA Annual Convention that focus on topics of interest to early career psychologists, such as work and life balance, training, cultural issues in the workplace, and more.
