Journal of Personality and social Psychology®
Journal of Personality and Social Psychology ® publishes papers in all areas of personality and social psychology and
emphasizes empirical reports, but may include specialized theoretical, methodological, and review papers.
The journal is divided into three independently edited sections. Attitudes and Social Cognition addresses those
domains of social behavior in which cognition plays a major role, including the interface of cognition with overt
behavior, affect, and motivation. Interpersonal Relations and Group Processes focuses on psychological and
structural features of interaction in dyads and groups. Personality Processes and Individual Differences
encourages research on all aspects of personality psychology, including individual differences in behavior, affect,
health, coping, and motivation. No other journal offers this level of coverage and prestige.

Emotion® publishes significant contributions to the study of emotion from a wide range of theoretical traditions
and research domains. The journal includes articles that advance knowledge and theory about all aspects of

articles. All domains of emotion research are covered, including studies on variables related to emotional
