Programming is designed to appeal to practicing psychologists at all career stages. Div. 51 to host June conference Div. 51 (Society for the Psychological Study of Men and Masculinity) will hold its third National Psychotherapy with Men Conference on June 9 at Fordham University in New York City. The conference will feature presentations by 15 of the nation’s leading authorities on men’s psychotherapy, including keynote talks by Douglas C. Haldeman, PhD, on the dynamics of a therapeutic relationship between gay therapists and straight male clients, and James O’Neil, PhD, of the University of Connecticut, on how to help men with gender role conflict. The conference will also feature sessions on such topics as working with AfricanAmerican men in therapy, group therapy, counseling men who are transitioning from college to the workplace and psychotherapy with veterans.
