Personalities APA member joins forces with Lady Gaga Susan Swearer, PhD, is helping musician Lady Gaga launch her new anti-bullying Born this Way Foundation. Swearer is a professor of school psychology at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln and codirector of the Bullying Research Network, which is bringing together researchers, psychologists, educators, legal experts and parents to stop bullying at school and online. Swearer’s project with Lady Gaga addresses such issues as selfconfidence, well-being, mentoring and career development through research, education and advocacy.
