Team APMA Runs Away with the Show

Team APMA had incredible support from more than a dozen sponsors, including title sponsors ASICS America Corporation and New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc. General sponsors were Bako Podiatric Pathology Services; BioMedix, Inc.; CrocsRx; Spenco Medical Corporation; and SureFit; AllPro Imaging; DynaSplint; GES; Injinji Footwear, Inc.; Metasurg; and Osteomed LP. Each runner or walker received a Team APMA ASICS running shirt as well as a goody bag full of fan-
t 5 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, more than 200 bleary-eyed but enthusiastic entrants gathered in the lobby of the Sheraton Boston for Team APMA’s second annual 5K Run/Walk. The event, which started as a loosely organized fun run, is quickly becoming a beloved tradition at APMA’s Annual Scientific Meeting—and a huge fundraising success for the APMA Educational Foundation. This year’s event, held in cooperation with the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, took place at beautiful Castle Island in Boston, a waterfront site that made the
