PENNSYLVANIA-The Temple University
School of Podiatric Medicine is seeking qualified candidates for appointment to the full-time
faculty in the Department of Podiatric Biomechanics. Duties include, but are not limited to,
didactic and clinical teaching, patient care, research, scholarly publication, and community
service. Qualified applicants must have: earned
a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree
from an accredited institution, possess current
licensure to practice podiatric medicine in the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or be eligible
for licensure, have proof of registration with
the federal Drug Enforcement Administration
(DEA) to prescribe controlled substances without limitation, and be eligible for participation
in the Medicare and Pennsylvania Medicaid
programs. The successful candidate should
also possess certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Podiatric
Medicine (ABPM) and/or the American Board
of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS), advanced
residency training, and the ability to instruct
in the biomechanical principles of the lower
extremity as they relate to conservative care
