In January, APMA relaunched its website (www.apma.org) with an updated
design, intuitive navigation based on extensive user research, and an improved
search function. APMA hopes you have had a chance to explore the new site.
If not, here are a few highlights.

APMA IS SOCIAL: ARE YOU?

This area of the website is the main home
for young physicians' specific content on
APMA.org. Here, you will learn about getting
more involved with APMA and attending the
Young Physicians' Institute. You can also find
resources for getting started in your career, like
student debt management and coding basics,
as well as academic and scientific resources.
Additionally, the page now highlights
recent young physician accomplishments!
Check back regularly to see all the amazing
things your colleagues are doing.

The APMA Career Center remains the number one digital resource for taking the next
step in your career. Browse listings to find
the right position, or if you are ready to be
your own boss, look for practices for sale. You
can also create and post your CV so potential
employers can find you, or search for potential candidates if you are looking to add a new
associate to your team.
The Career Center has expanded on
the new site to include additional practice
management resources. Check out past
practice management surveys to benchmark
yourself against your peers and be prepared
to negotiate a new contract with real facts.
Find information about the necessary steps
to open a practice. Look for this area of the
site to grow with new resources based on
your input in the coming months.

Your APMA membership includes exclusive
access to a trove of free webinars, with a
notable focus on coding and reimbursement
issues. New coding webinars are generally
held the third Thursday of each month, but
if you can't make the live session, past presentations can be viewed at any time so you
and your staff can watch them at your convenience. In addition to coding, other webinar
topics include MIPS and the APMA Registry,
Medicare Advantage plans, falls prevention,
and more.
