Exciting Future Ahead for ASPS
The American Society of Podiatric Surgeons (ASPS) announced it has transitioned to a new management company,
M3Meet. The APMA Board of Trustees was in full support of
this decision, signaling that the surgical affiliate has
reached a point in its growth at which it
is able to seek full autonomy
from APMA.
"The M3Meet team brings
ample experience and resources to help us grow
membership, provide educational opportunities, and serve our
members," said Jeffrey D. Lehrman, DPM,
board chair, ASPS.
"M3Meet is honored to be chosen as the new
management company for the American Society of
Podiatric Surgeons," said Dana H. Rigdon, co-owner
and founding partner of M3Meet. "It is a privilege to be
working with the ASPS leadership team and Board of
Directors as we usher in a new era of member and
fundraising opportunities. Together ASPS and M3Meet
will explore innovative opportunities for membership
growth and enhancement."
A staff of professionals will focus on ASPS in all pertinent areas to include dedicated personnel for membership retention and recruitment, industry sales, conference management, faculty and education development,
marketing, social media, and daily operations. Staff contact information is

ASPS members can expect
an updated website, upgraded
online membership management portal, and updated membership marketing materials. The

APMWA Announces Winner of Student Writing Competition
Ramya Tadinada, a second-year student at the Midwestern University Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine, has
been named the winner of the 32nd
Annual American Podiatric Medical
Writers Association (APMWA) Student
Writing Competition. Her paper was titled "Feminization of
Medicine." Tadinada will receive a $1,000
honorarium
from a special
endowment

Adenike Sonaike, a fourth-year student at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, was awarded second place
for her paper titled "Providing Care for
Our Population with Special Healthcare
Needs," and will receive an honorarium
of $750. Anna Stoupine, a third-year
student at Barry University School of
Podiatric Medicine, took third place for
her paper titled "Breaking Physician
Burnout: How to Save Yourself and Your
Career," and will receive an honorarium
of $500.
