Located in the Mississippi Flyway, the park offers some of Arkansas’s best year-round birding. Interpretive programs include lake tours and levee tours. Nestled in a pecan grove are the park’s 122 campsites (39 Class AAA, 16 Class AA, and 67 Class B including several sites with Class C options). The park also offers 14 cabins with kitchens, fireplaces and patios (many with private fishing dock); a swimming pool (open in summer); picnic sites; standard pavilions (screened); a climatecontrolled meeting hall with kitchen; laundry; and playground. The store/marina includes food, gifts, fuel, and bait for sale; boats and motors for rent; and a launch ramp. The park is on Ark. 144 eight miles northeast of Lake Village.
