Arkansas State Park Guide 2008 - (Page 71) Fireplaces are available during fall and winter in many cabins, the four suites in the Lodge at Mount Magazine, and the two Queen’s Rooms in Queen Wilhelmina Lodge. Meeting facilities for group conferences are available at DeGray, Mount Magazine, and the Ozark Folk Center. Group facilities with bunk beds are available at Crowley’s Ridge (overnight capacity 60), Historic Washington (overnight capacity 54), and Lake Fort Smith (cap. 32) with single beds. Advance deposits required. Camping Thirty of Arkansas’s 52 state parks offer camping. Campsites are available by reservation or on a first-come, first served basis. It is necessary to register at the visitor center before occupying campsite. Campers can request a specific campsite. The registering attendant will assign all campsites. Camping is limited to one 14-day Lake Dardanelle State Park stay within a 30-day period. The camping rules and regulations policy (P #3015) is available online at: .D. www.adptfoi.com/parks. Group camping areas are at Devil’s Den, Logoly, Petit Jean, and Withrow Springs. Rent-A-Camps are offered at Bull Shoals-White River, Lake Catherine, and Petit Jean during spring, summer, and fall. Each Rent-A-Camp offers a tent (already set up), two cots, a lantern, stove, and ice chest. RV, yurt, and tepee rentals are listed below. Individual Campsites The majority of the campsites have water and electric hookups, picnic tables, grills, and lantern hangers. Some are combination RV/tent sites. Flush toilets, hot showers, and dump stations are located in most areas. Tent and hike-in sites are also available for camping enthusiasts. Overflow areas are not designated campsites. These spaces in open fields, parking lots, and similar areas may be assigned when all developed campsites are occupied.
