SLP Fluency Intervention Strategies for Children Who Stutter: Building Bridges Between Research and Clinical Practice Nan Bernstein Ratner, EdD, CCC-SLP Vivian Sisskin, MS, CCC-SLP This program provides an overview of current strategies for treating children who stutter and demonstrates how current research can enhance clinical practice in stuttering. Presenters develop a framework for an assessment process that facilitates formulation of treatment goals and evaluation of treatment options. Intervention options are discussed, with primary emphasis on the caseload challenges of school-based speech-language pathologists.
