SLP Vocabulary Instruction for Children and Adolescents With Language Disorders A Collaborative Project of ASHA Professional Development & Special Interest Division 1, Language Learning and Education This journal self-study provides insight into the development of vocabulary as it pertains to reading comprehension, language labs, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices. In addition, the relationship between working memory and vocabulary is explored, as is the significance of evidence in guiding decisions about vocabulary development.
