CARLSBAD, Calif.—Keith Coursin, Member ASHRAE, was elected chairman of the Board of Directors of the AirConditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) at the organization’s annual meeting here. Coursin is president of Desert Aire Corp., headquartered in Germantown, Wis. He has been active in AHRI Coursin for more than 10 years and has held a number of executive and committee leadership positions. Other officers elected to the association’s Board of Directors include two new vice chairmen: Morrison Carter, CEO, Beckett Gas Inc., North Ridgeville, Ohio; and Ray Hoglund, president and CEO, Hill Phoenix, Conyers, Ga. Other officers include: Harry Holmes, Member ASHRAE, president and CEO, Morrison Products Inc., Cleveland, who was elected treasurer. C. David Myers, vice president and president, building efficiency at Johnson Controls, Inc., Milwaukee, will serve as immediate past chairman. AHRI Honors Industry Leaders CARLSBAD, Calif.—David Huntley, Member ASHRAE, has been awarded the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute’s (AHRI) Distinguished Service Award, the highest honor given by the association. Huntley, president of CES Group, was honored at AHRI’s annual meeting here for more than 40 years of service to the HVAC&R industry. Five other industry leaders, including three ASHRAE members, were awarded the Richard C. Schulze Award for leadership and commitment to the 44 ASHRAE Journal Huntley Hosler industry over a number of years.
