The 16,000 ft2 (1500 m2) training academy is the centerpiece of a new LG Roswell facility, which also houses the company’s local operations for LG Mobile Phones and LG Digital Appliances. This location now has a total of 30 employees and plans to hire additional staff this year. It will serve the Southeast region by providing courses for engineers, contractors, technicians and air conditioning sales managers on LG’s Multi-V Applied Commercial Systems, DuctFree Mini Split and Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC) systems.
