Torre Reforma
La Torre Reforma está organizada en 14 racimos con 11 racimos de oficinas de cuatro niveles cada una las cuales cuentan con jardines interiores. Un centro deportivo de seis pisos tendrá piscina interior y un sky lobby (mirador) de dos niveles tendrá auditorio. Un racimo mecánico se ubica en la azotea.
Seguridad sísmica

El edificio está diseñado para soportar un terremoto de 8.5 en la escala de Richter.
Energía renovable

Dado que la Ciudad de México D. F. es un área de alta actividad sísmica, las membranas estructurales de soporte distribuido en los niveles superiores ayudarán a estabilizar la torre en caso de un terremoto. Se prevé que la estructura sobrepasará los requisitos de construcción de máxima seguridad de México D.F. y de California. La estructura de acero y concreto tendrá amortiguadores sísmicos para reducir su movimiento durante un terremoto, así absorbiendo y disipando una gran cantidad de energía generada por un evento sísmico.

Se montarán unos paneles fotovoltaicos en la cuña del lado al sur para producir la energía que será utilizada para los artefactos de iluminación del lobby de ascensores. Los paneles serán instalados también en la fachada principal en función de iluminación exterior. Los sensores de luces serán activados por la noche y luego desactivados por la gerencia del edificio a media noche. Además, los paneles adicionales en el tejado alumbrarán el cuarto mecánico en la azotea. Calentadores solares serán montados en la fachada principal del centro deportivo para calentar el agua de la piscina. Preservación de una casa in situ: un logro de ingeniería
En el sitio de construcción de la Torre Reforma en el Paseo de la Reforma, se construyó una casa de dos pisos (659 metros cuadros [7,093 ft2]), una residencia neogótica, al principio del siglo veinte por un negociante británico. La casa pasó por varios dueños hasta que se convirtiera en los 1990s en un restaurante y luego en una discoteca. El edificio disfrutaba de tanta importancia histórica que fue declarado un monumento artístico por el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes. Los dueños decidieron temprano en los planes de diseño de la Torre Reforma que preservarían la casa y la integrarían en el diseño de la torre. En conjunto con compañías ingenieras conocidas a nivel nacional e internacional, ALE Heavy Lift, Ditec-Vamisa y Bovis Lend Lease, la casa fue trasladada 18 metros (59 ft) al norte durante un periodo de nueve semanas desde febrero. Este desplazamiento, único en México, fue aprobado por autoridades tales como el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (INBA), la Secretaría de Desarrollo Urbano y Vivienda (Seduvi) y la Municipalidad de Cuauhtémoc. Un especialista de estructura, el Dr. Roberto Meli, supervisó el trabajo relacionado al traslado de la casa. Tras reubicar la casa, el sótano y las fundaciones de la torre fueron construidos. En mayo, la casa fue devuelta al mismo lugar con mucho cuidado. “Este logro es importante en la ingeniería y la preservación de edificios históricos en la Ciudad de México, estamos muy orgullosos y satisfechos con los resultados”, afirmó Meli, especialista en soluciones estructurales de monumentos históricos tales como la Catedral Metropolitana y el Monumento a Cuauhtémoc.
