The remainder day is free to rest. DaY 2 – athens city Tour Enjoy a morning tour of Athens visiting the Acropolis and its museum. Spend the afternoon at leisure to stroll through Plaka (old Athens section), enjoy a delicious Greek souvlaki and shop at the flea market in Monastiraki. a beautiful landscape, lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Visit the treasury of Athenians, the Temple of Apollo and the museum containing the sculpture of the bronze Charioteer. Then drive through Amphissa, Lamia & Trikala to arrive in Kalambaka a small town situated at the foot of the astonishing complex of Meteora, gigantic rocks. Dinner and overnight. Tour incluDes DaY 6 – athens DaY 3 – olympia From Athens drive through the Corinth Canal with a short stop. Continue to Epidaurus and visit the archaeological site and theatre famous for its remarkable acoustics. Then continue to Mycenae where you’ll visit the Lion Gate and the tomb of Agamemnon. Continue through the central Peloponnese to arrive in Olympia. Dinner and overnight. In the morning visit the archaeological site and the museum of Olympia. Then drive via Patras to Rion where you cross by car/ferry to Antirion and through Nafpaktos to arrive in Delphi. Dinner & overnight. In the morning visit the breathtaking Meteora which seem to be suspended in mid–air, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Then, in the afternoon start the drive back to Athens passing via Thermopylae with a short stop to see Leonida’s Monument.
