DAY 7: KOTA KINABALU – SANDAKAN This morning, board a short flight to Sandakan. On arrival, journey to the Gomantong Caves and see the largest bird’s nest caves in Sabah. Travel along the Kinabatangan River and watch the Proboscis Monkeys gather by the water. This evening, enjoy dinner and a slide show and if weather permits, a walk to search for native wildlife. (B,L,D) DAY 8: SANDAKAN – KOTA KINABALU After breakfast, travel to Sepilok Orangutan Center to see orphan Orangutans, and the jungle trail through the rainforest with a vast array of wildlife and tropical plants. (B) DAY 4: KUCHING – BATANG AI Journey through lush green countryside surrounded by rugged mountains to visit the Serian farmer’s market, before enjoying lunch at a roadside bazaar. Board a longboat and travel up the Lemanak River to Serubah Longhouse. Here you will visit the entire village under one roof and enjoy a demonstration of blowpipe shooting. Return to the river and cross the Hydro Lake to arrive at your resort. This evening, enjoy dinner and a cultural performance. Overnight: Batang Ai, Hilton Batang Ai Longhouse Resort for 1 night.
