"Given the size of the room, the difficulty was to get the panels all sized exactly right to fit the radius and also maintain the specified one-eight-inch reveals between panels and display niches that interrupted the paneling," she notes. "The conference table was also a challenge due to its large size and that it had to meet structural requirements with heavy metal tube structures that had to be concealed within the top and legs," she adds. "The welded steel structure was made up in several sections and clad with the leg panels then fastened internally to the top so that all fasteners were concealed. Access panel and slots also had to be incorporated into the legs and top to provide access for cable wiring, A/V units and computers."
