In 2017 AWI established
a state of the art climate
controlled National Testing
Center (NTC) where for
the past year, casework
performance testing
has been conducted on
hundreds of base and wall
cabinet specimens that
represent perhaps 90%
of the industry's use of
joinery methods, fasteners
and materials for custom
cabinets. Performance
tests outcomes have
generated reams of data
that provide the AWI
Technical Committee with
an understanding of each
specimen's performance
characteristics.

influence of preconceived
opinion, logical speculation
and allegiance to old
boastings of "the right, the

that are vetted and
approved by the industry we

association.
