SOLUTIONS IN ACTION: BOLTON WASTEWATER TREATMENT WORKS The Bolton Wastewater Treatment Works project includes substantial refurbishing to the existing plant. Bentley’s MicroStation-based 3D visualization helped Atkins optimize placement of access stairways and platforms, prepare presentations to illustrate construction sequencing for the client, demonstrate to construction supervisors and safety representatives, and carry out significant amounts of work without disrupting operations.
