The Year in Infrastructure 2007 - (Page 25) Centier Bank Corporate Office Building the troyer group inc The new corporate office building for Centier Bank is located on a high-profile traffic intersection in a fast-growing community in northwest Indiana. The final design is a circular building — five-stories above grade with one story below grade. It is a steel frame building with a reflective blue glass exterior that is highly visible from major traffic thoroughfares and makes a definitive corporate statement for the bank. The Troyer Group used Bentley’s BIM solutions, including its RAM and STAAD products, to create the design development and construction documents. The structural steel design component was of particular value due to the intricacy of the building geometry. Bentley’s federated database approach enabled the firm to successfully complete the project through the collaboration of all disciplines, a large number of team members, and the incorporation of an outside consultant’s design data. “ The ability to submit our working designs and documentation to be judged by industry experts and potentially win these widely publicized awards is highly respected by our clients.
