The goal of this project was to provide aesthetically appealing chromatic display units for a shopping center in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As part of the project, photorealistic visualizations were generated encompassing a variety of dimensions. Using MicroStation, Arthema can quickly render images and check for interferences. Overall, MicroStation produced the best results in the shortest time. 299 First Avenue cooper carry inc Progress Energy, a Fortune 250 diversified energy company, commissioned the services of Cooper Carry to design a new Southeast headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida. The project began with the construction of the new $40 million mixed-use tower. The plan’s goal was to achieve a new level of densification through the addition of a rich mix of commercial office space, street-level retail, and structured parking facilities. Because the urban site was extremely tight, vertical stacking needed to be exploited. With Cooper Carry, the client, the developer, and city officials all involved in the design process, the team sought every opportunity to improve its efficiency in communicating decisions. The 3D modeling and visualization capabilities of MicroStation enhanced and streamlined the overall design process. 28 ThE YEAR IN INFRASTRUCTURE 2007
