Indeed, on many an occasion, reality can get in the way of visualization and design evaluation—which is why many experts now also reach for that conceptual look. Here we see two superb examples using soft shadows and particle tracing to create a sense of dusty depth for these elegant models that are good enough to pick up.” Johann Jordaan, Peerutin Architects Joe Granville: “At first glance, I thought this was photo-matched. But after closer inspection, I see only a background sky and some distant tree photography. The realism in this image comes from the use of RPC people and foliage casting shadows from the overhead lighting, and some additional, very well-placed car photography.
