From traditional designs through to distributed rack deployments, sustainable critical power is an essential element in today’s dynamic environments; evaluation of the current data center; power distribution schemes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs of heat; deployment of strategies and sizing for future requirements; legacy versus future trends; TCO through battery management, service and maintenance; electrical system design in consideration of tier I-IV requirements. q “Specification Writing Fundamentals,” Gary Wright, RCDD, URS Corporation, Orlando, Florida 3 CECs – RCDD, NTS Specialty, OSP Specialty, WD Specialty, ITS Installer/Technician Today, information technology specialists need to understand the basic components of a cable TV headend and what to expect in RF levels and values. Once a basic understanding is obtained, troubleshooting a signal reception or distribution problem will be easily completed. This seminar will cover all the basic components of a DISH and DIRECT TV headend, the wiring configurations and signal readings as well as the distribution network for an apartment, condo or multi-story building to include riser diagrams and wall plate (outlet) readings.
