On Hawai‘i’s Big Island you can exchange or renew vows barefoot in the sand, on a Hawaiian sailing canoe in pristine waters, or at an oceanfront resort set against a backdrop of endless blue. However, there are a few steps you must follow to obtain your marriage license. ~ Complete a marriage license application. ~ You and your spouse must appear together before an official marriage license agent. ~ The cost of a marriage license is $60, payable in cash only. ~ Your marriage license will be valid for 30 days.
