The summer following her junior year, Rose
traveled to India to volunteer at the Regional
Cancer Center in Thiruvanthapuram, India.

Congratulation to 2014 Aquinas alum Tommy
Luizzo! He graduated from St. John Paul

the Great Catholic High School with highest
honors this June and has accepted an
appointment to the United States Military
Academy, West Point, NY as a member of the
class of 2022. Great job, Tommy!

There she worked directly with children
receiving cancer treatment. In addition to her
volunteer work, Rose also was the president
of the National Honor Society for JP the
Great, was a member of five other honor
Rose Dennis, a 2014 Aquinas graduate,

was highlighted in the May 18 issue of the
Arlington Catholic Herald for her work as a
student intern at the Georgetown cancer
lab. During her time at the Georgetown
Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center
she found that the staff was spending
significant time entering patient data. Rose
designed a software solution that streamlined
the research process for the staff studying
neuroblastoma, a cancer that primarily
impacts young children. Rose' commitment

societies, and played varsity lacrosse and
volleyball. She graduated this June from St.
John Paul the Great Catholic High School
and plans to attend UVA to study Biomedical
Engineering. Congratulations Rose on a job
well done! Your Aquinas community is proud
