CAA Section 215 (2 U.S.C. § 1341)
requires legislative branch employees
and employing offices to comply
with the OSHAct, which mandates
that the workplace be free from
recognized hazards that are likely
to cause death or serious injury. The
OGC conducts required biennial
inspections of legislative branch
facilities, grounds, and programs for
violations of applicable standards
and reports its findings to Congress
and the Architect of the Capitol. The
