2007 Annual Report - (Page 12) A “MATCH DEvICE” MADE POSSIBLE BY THE MEMBER INSERTION IN THE EPL QUaLIfICatIoN ENforCEMENt ProGraM (QEP) The Qualification Enforcement Program (QEP) encourages members who identify qualification issues to report them. The goal of the program is to identify and resolve qualification and interoperability issues found in Bluetooth devices. In 2007, the QEP harmonized the brand tracking and qualification issue databases and streamlined the QEP process flow. In addition to issues with qualified products, the QEP team enforced product qualification and targeted member listings not in compliance with the Bluetooth SIG listing process. As the year progressed, fewer qualification issues were found through the device testing. The QEP actions have resulted in software updates to products, along with enhancements to test and profile Specifications. BY LISTING PRODUCTS USING THE FREE END PRODUCT LISTING (EPL), MEMBERS REACH THEIR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS.
