The Bluetooth SIG addresses this demand with a variety of training sessions globally, and by providing updates on SIG tools and answering member inquiries. In 2007, the SIG held training events in: • Singapore: Core Specification Training, 90+ attendees • Seoul , South Korea: Core Specification Training, 80+ attendees • Mumbai, India: Core Specification Training, 20+ attendees • Bangalore, India: Core Specification Training, 50+ attendees • Seoul, South Korea: Tailor-made training session, 60+ attendees In 2007, the Bluetooth SIG also held the second Automotive interoperability event with a focus on handsets and automotive applications. Johnson Controls, Inc. fully sponsored the event, which drew 147 attendees from 47 member companies (a 40% attendance increase) and 73 platforms (a 23% platform increase). traINING EvENtS The SIG recognizes strong demand from members for advanced information on topics such as the Profile Tuning Suite, Qualification Program and current and future 22
