Firms include IMS Research, whose annual Worldwide Market for Bluetooth Technology report looks at major trends affecting Bluetooth technology; automotive and telematics industry specialist SBD, which reports on wireless technologies in vehicles; and other major analyst research firms such as Gartner, META Group, Forrester and Yankee Group. Reports on research in a variety of areas pertaining to Bluetooth technology are available to Bluetooth SIG members, often at substantial discounts or even free of charge to Promoter and Associate members. The Bluetooth SIG coordinates the events and invites the press, arranges for the facilities and so on. They’re exciting and productive sessions that are well-attended by the press – but members need to make sure they plan early to participate.” Visit the Events page at Bluetooth.org to find out more about marketing events as well as other membership activities.
