Bluetooth Technology @WORK Diabetes is a widespread disease that, according to information from the World Health Organization, affects more than 180 million people. The disease impairs the body’s ability to produce insulin, use it to regulate blood glucose, or both. It can be disabling or even deadly if not treated carefully. Most diagnosed with diabetes can live a normal life as long as they are vigilant about monitoring blood glucose levels and taking appropriate medication. Such vigilance comes with a price, however.
