Grand Intercontinental Seoul Hotel Seoul, Korea 9 July 2008 Thailand Training Bluetooth Technology on the Blue Danube Test and Rest in Budapest It’s fitting that UnPlugFest (UPF) 31 will be held in the city of Budapest (6-10 October). This Hungarian capital city, like wireless technology, was once divided. On one side of the Danube River is the old town of Buda; on the other sits Pest. United since 1873, Budapest is now joined by nine bridges. The Chain Bridge dominates the landscape outside the Hotel InterContinental, where you’ll spend a week with teams of development engineers from other organizations, all gathered to test product interoperability in a confidential, neutral environment. The week will be busy, but don’t miss the beauty and culture of the city known as the Queen of the Danube. If all the work and sightseeing wears you out, refresh yourself with a visit to Gellért spa, a short 5 km (3.11 mi) taxi or bus ride from the hotel. Built in 1918, the spa features Art Nouveau styling and thermal baths and pools. The waters here have been famous for their healing properties since the 13th century. Get ready to kihúz (unplug).
