It’s a large order, but it’s what customers expect when they use a restaurant drive-through. The expectation is even higher for BURGER KING® restaurants. Approximately 60 percent of its sales comes from the drive-through in the United States – mostly during the peak hours of breakfast and lunch. Getting orders in and out faster and more accurately is an ongoing goal for the chain of more than 11,200 restaurants worldwide. Now, thanks to a new Bluetooth wireless headset system from VXI Corporation, BURGER KING® has found a way to make an already efficient system even better. Currently, 17 restaurants are using this form of wireless communication; as new restaurants are built or older ones are remodeled, the system will be implemented. “You’ll also see this system of wireless communication adopted quickly by those restaurant owners who see the benefit of adding new technology to their operation,” Cook notes.
