The Dow Chemical Co. and Chevron Philips Chemical Co. have named their leadership team for their joint venture to produce polystyrene. The new company will be known as Americas Styrenics and will be headquartered in Houston, Texas. Tim Roberts has been named president and CEO. Carrier Corp., Farmington, Conn., plans to invest $50 million in India during the next three years to build a new global research and development center, develop new products and technology for local markets and to enhance Carrier’s manufacturing operations in that country.
