The compact wireless “End Devices” mount discretely on a wall and are powered by two AA 1.5V alkaline batteries. The End Devices transmit up to 300 ft. (without obstructions or interference) to the “Coordinator.” The wireless system complies with IEEE 802.15.4 operating at 2.4 GHz.
