BSH Home Appliance Corp., the U.S. subsidiary of its Germany-based parent company, Bosch, launched a new dishwasher line at its New Bern, N.C., plant. The AHAM Chairman’s Award, which recognizes significant contributions to the association by non-member individuals, was presented to Timothy L. Mullin, Miles & Stockbridge, for his leadership and guidance on product liability regulatory and legislative issues. The AHAM Distinguished Service Award, which recognizes significant contributions by virtue of longevity and quality of service to AHAM and the home appliance industry, was presented to Richard Bollard, group standards & approvals manager, Fisher & Paykel Appliances; Bill A. Brown, senior engineer, GE Consumer & Industrial; and Steve Gatchell, director of engineering Home Comfort, Hunter Fan Co.
