The operator positions the tool and presses the trigger bar. The screwdriver bit then advances automatically without rotation until it interlocks with the head of the screw. This engages the locking clutch and starts the screwdriver turning. The tool tightens the screw to the set torque and, as the trigger is released, retracts as a new screw is automatically loaded.
