The order, valued at $242 million, boosts total sales for Bombardier Aerospace has signed a contract to supply eight new aircraft to Ethiopian Airlines. the Dash 8/Q-Series aircraft program to just over one thousand. Bombardier launched its Dash 8 turboprop program in 1980. With the introduction of the company’s proprietary noise and vibration suppression system in 1996, the name was changed to the Q-Series aircraft program.
